Lydia Polk (Clara)

Lydia attends CAS Ballet Theatre School and has performed in Ann Arbor Ballet Theatre's Nutcracker for the last eight years. Her first role was a Sparkly Clown toy. Her favorite roles include Columbine, Mouse Queen Puppet, and Chocolate. In addition to her passion of ballet, she enjoys movies and baking. She wishes to thank her parents, sisters, teachers and cast members for all their support.



Avery Bruni

Avery Bruni (Nutcracker)

Avery is excited to be dancing his sixth year in Ann Arbor Ballet Theatre's Nutcracker. He studies Physics and Sound Engineering at the University of Michigan. Avery's dance education started at Central City Dance Center in Canton, MI where he learned Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop and Ballet. He spends his free time writing music for film and performing in a band.


Rebecca Loechli

Rebecca Loechli (Sugar Plum Faerie and Mrs. Stahlbaum)

Rebecca is a Research Technician studying RNA in the Cheung Lab of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. Her goal is to become a doctor who is both a researcher and a clinician. She is thrilled to dance in her 18th year in AABT’s Nutcracker! She thanks her family and friends for their constant love and support, and Carol for training her to become the dancer and artist she is today. To all the audience members, she thanks you for attending the performances. We love dancing for you!

Bailey Ahles

Bailey Ahles (Snow Queen and Trepak)

Bailey began her dance training at Ann Arbor's Dance Theatre Studio at the age of eight. Bailey pursued her passion for dance and received her B.S. in Dance Performance from Eastern Michigan University. Following graduation Bailey moved to New York City where she received a certification in choreography from Dance New Amsterdam. Bailey currently teaches dance in the Ann Arbor area. Bailey is delighted to be returning to Ann Arbor Ballet Theatre's production of the Nutcracker.

Eric Priuska

Eric Priuska (Snow King and Dr. Stahlbaum)

Eric is performing for his 7th year in Ann Arbor Ballet Theatre's Nutcracker. His roles have included Coffee, Chocolate, Marzipan, and Dr. Stahlbaum. He is excited to be performing this year with his older son, Kaleb Doughten-Priuska. He thanks his partner, Jay, and their younger son, Micah, for all their love and support. And he thanks Carol and all the incredible dancers at Ann Arbor Ballet Theatre and CAS Ballet Theatre School.

Lorna Davalos

Lorna Davalos (Mouse Queen and Dew Drop Faerie)

Lorna is thrilled to be dancing in her 15th Nutcracker performance with Ann Arbor Ballet Theatre. She is a graduate from the Fashion Institute of Technology and is currently pursuing an education in dietetics at Eastern Michigan University. Lorna would like to thank her wonderful dance partners, AABT family, and friends for their continued support.


Kaleb Doughten-Priuska

Kaleb Doughten-Priuska (Moore and Tea)

Kaleb is performing for his 7th year in Ann Arbor Ballet Theatre's Nutcracker. His roles have included Fritz, Nutcracker Puppet, Harlequin, Soldier, Moor, and Tea. He thanks his friends and family for all their love and support.
