Genna Galura

Genna Galura (Clara)

Genna is in her final year of the Doctor of Pharmacy program at the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy. This is her 20th Nutcracker with AABT, and she is excited to be performing the role of Clara. She would like to thank Carol and Ariel for their support and encouragement, as well as everyone else at CAS/AABT who has made this such a special community over the years.



Jim Benjey

Jim Benjey (Nutcracker)

Jim is a member of Ann Arbor Ballet Theatre. He began his training at CAS Ballet Theatre School under Carol Radovich before studying at Bossov Ballet Academy, under A. Bossov, N. Getman, V. Karpov, and A. Karpova. He has studied at the Kirov Academy of Ballet in Washington DC. He is a graduate of Washtenaw Community College. He wishes everyone a safe and happy holiday season!


Sarah Polk

Sarah Polk (Sugar Plum Faerie)

Sarah is excited to return to Ann Arbor Ballet Theatre as the Sugar Plum Faerie. After completing her pre-professional training at the CAS Ballet Theatre School and her B.A. at the University of Michigan, she moved to Berlin to earn her M.S. in Neuroscience. She currently trains with Matthew Thomas (English National Ballet) and Edwin Mota (School of American Ballet), among others.



Avery Bruni

Avery Bruni (Cavalier)

Avery is excited to be dancing his 8th year in Ann Arbor Ballet Theatre's Nutcracker. He graduated from the University of Michigan in Physics and Sound Engineering. Avery's dance education started at Central City Dance Center in Canton, MI where he learned Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop and Ballet. He spends his free time writing music for film and performing in a band.


Sirenna Burks

Sirenna Burks (Snow Queen)

Sirenna is a senior at the University of Michigan studying Anthropology and Biopsychology, Cognition, & Neuroscience. She has been dancing for 18 years. This is Sirenna's twelfth Nutcracker performance & she is excited to be dancing the roles of Parent, Snow Queen, and Tea. Sirenna would like to thank her friends, family and everyone at CAS for their love & support.



Eric Priuska

Eric Priuska (Snow King)

Eric is performing for his 9th year in Ann Arbor Ballet Theatre's Nutcracker. His roles have included Coffee, Chocolate, Marzipan, and Dr. Stahlbaum. He is excited to be performing once again with his older son, Kaleb Doughten-Priuska. He thanks his partner, Jay, and their younger son, Micah, for all their love and support, and he thanks Carol and all the incredible dancers at Ann Arbor Ballet Theatre and CAS Ballet Theatre School for everything he has learned from them.

Lorna Davalos

Lorna Davalos (Mouse Queen)

Lorna is thrilled to be dancing in her 17th Nutcracker performance with Ann Arbor Ballet Theatre. She is a graduate from the Fashion Institute of Technology and Eastern Michigan University dietetics program. Now a registered dietitian, she is currently pursuing a masters in human nutrition at EMU. Lorna would like to thank her wonderful dance partners, AABT family, and friends for their continued support.


Kaleb Doughten-Priuska

Kaleb Doughten-Priuska (Moore and Tea)

Kaleb is taking a short break from his training program at Broadway Dance Center in New York City to perform for his 9th consecutive year in Ann Arbor Ballet Theatre's Nutcracker. His roles have included Fritz, Nutcracker Puppet, Harlequin, Soldier, Moor, and Tea. He thanks his friends and family for all their love and support.
